This Limoges porcelain box looks like an open book. The inscriptions written on the pages seem to be some details about graduation.  The graduation cap on the ‘book’ is another evidence that it is about graduation. The ornamental golden rims of the Limoges box is held together with a clasp that is shaped like two hands in the process of a hand-shake.
