Inspired by 18th century French tabatieres found in the museums of Europe, these were the first boxes introduced by Rochard in the mid-1970s. The first, including a pheasant, lovebirds and a frog, were larger size, three to three and a half inches long. Today, animals as a category have grown to include well over 100 styles.

 These beautiful porcelain boxes are made by hand and in a manual process that has remained unchanged for more than 100 years. 

 No machines are used in the process of creating of these magnificent limoges boxes, that is why Rochard box look as amazing as they do.

 There will never be two identical pieces and that what makes it a unique and authentic gift.
